Does it hurt?
The paintball typically breaks open upon impact and generally causes very little pain. What pain is experienced is more of a stinging sensation from the impact. The feeling has been described as being snapped with a rubber band, and it's gone in a matter of seconds. To reduce the impact, wear layers of clothes.
What do I wear?
We suggest that you wear long sleeves, long pants and sneakers. A couple of layers may be helpful (more padding). Hooded sweatshirts and gloves are both beneficial as they will protect your head, neck and fingers.
Does the paint wash out?
The paint does wash out, but you may want to wear something you do not mind getting dirty.
What is the difference between .68cal and .50cal?
.50cal paintballs are smaller, lighter and more fragile than .68cal paintballs. The .50cal balls travel slower creating less ‘force’ on the ball which in turn creates a softer impact when it hits you. The .50cal equipment is also smaller and lighter making it easier for new and younger players to handle.
