Thinking about organizing a birthday party here at KC’s? We are super excited to have you! And we wanted to make this as fun, memorable, and stress free as possible for you, so we put together a checklist of the top 7 things to keep in mind when planning the party!
- Determine the Party Size: Guest numbers make a big impact on everything from which party package makes the most sense for you here at the field, to how much food to buy. Getting a good idea of how many guests you’re expecting should always be the very first step.
- Reserve the Field: Contact us here at the field to reserve the date and time for the birthday party. You can do this by simply calling us at (253) 377-6254 or you can schedule online here.
- Send Invitations: Whether you create cards or just send a text, you’re going to want to make sure that guests know all the important details (date, time, location, cost, any special instructions or requirements) and you’re going to want to get confirmations on who is coming and who won't be able to make it.
- Food and Drinks: Plan the menu for the birthday party. We have some refreshments available for purchase, but depending on how long your reservation is, you may want to consider providing snacks, beverages, and a cake or other dessert.
- Birthday Presents: Remind guests to bring birthday presents for the birthday boy/girl, if desired. When you make a reservation with us, you get your own designated (covered) picnic table, so you will have space for presents. (If there will be times when nobody is at the table, we advise storing the presents in a car to keep them safe).
- Decorations: Your picnic table is YOURS for the full time of the reservation. If you want to decorate, go crazy!
- Capture the Moments: Make sure to take lots of pictures! Your designated paintball referee will not be able to take pictures during games (as they will be focused on making sure everyone is staying safe and having fun), but if you want any group photos outside of game play, they will be happy to take pictures for you, just ask!

- Comfortable Clothing: Advise your child to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that can get dirty. Layers can help to cushion the impact of paintballs.
- Footwear: Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are essential. Consider old running shoes or hiking boots that provide good grip and ankle support.
- Extra Clothes and Towels: An extra set of clothes for after the game is very helpful, as the ones worn during the game will likely be covered in paint. Also, bring towels for a quick clean-up.
- Water and Snacks: Paintball is an energetic game, so bring plenty of water to keep the kids hydrated. Healthy snacks can help to replenish their energy during breaks.
- Personal Protective Equipment: We provide all essential protective gear with ouor standard rental packages, and have additional equipment available for rental/purchase (chest protectors, gloves, hats, etc). If your child has their own protective equipment that they would like to bring as well, feel free to bring them along!
- A Positive Attitude: Lastly, remind your child to bring a positive attitude, be ready to have fun and make the birthday party a memorable one!
